Hi there! I am Cristian. I’ve been operating city tours of Timișoara since 2001. Over the time, the curiosity (coupled with long walks with the dog…) led to developing new tours. Timișoara is hardly the classic tourist spot, but offers a surprising wealth of in-depth subjects.
In time, the growing interest in nature grew beside the passion for local history – in Feb. 2026 I started organizing birding tours in Timișoara. The emotion for biodiversity led to a job at WWF and finally to moving into the countryside: since 2023 I live in the old little village of Ilidia, at the foothills of the mountains – in walking distance from the Nera Gorge (Cheile Nerei) National Park. The radical shift led to a detailed insight of both worlds – the vibrant big city and the enchanting „Old Europe” of the countryside. You will certainly benefit from this experiences within a city tour.
